Website privacy notice

Clear handling for information shared with Icarus.

Effective July 26, 2026. This notice applies to the Icarus Analytica corporate website.

01

Information collected

Icarus may collect information you submit through a project brief or business communication, including your name, work email, organization, role, service interest, investment range, timeline, and project context.

The website may also receive the source page, referring page, and campaign parameters associated with an inquiry. Anti-abuse controls may process technical request signals.

02

How information is used

Information is used to respond to inquiries, assess engagement fit, prepare relevant conversations, maintain relationship records, protect the website, and improve marketing and service operations.

Icarus does not sell personal information submitted through this website.

03

Website measurement

Measurement runs on Umami, an open-source analytics tool that Icarus hosts on its own infrastructure. Measurement data is not sent to a third-party analytics provider, is not used for advertising, and is not sold.

Aggregate activity. Pages viewed, referring pages, campaign parameters, device type, and approximate region. This is used to understand which pages and starting points lead to inquiries.

Interaction recording. On a sample of visits, the site records how the page was used: pointer movement, scrolling, clicks, and the structure of the page as it was displayed. This produces heatmaps showing which parts of a page receive attention. Text entered into form fields is masked and is not recorded, and keystrokes are not captured.

Performance. Loading speed, responsiveness, and layout stability are collected from real visits so the site can be measured as visitors actually experience it.

Advertising and cross-site tracking are not used. If measurement that requires consent is introduced in the future, consent controls will be presented before it is activated.

04

Sharing and service providers

Information may be processed by service providers supporting website hosting, security, business email, analytics, and customer relationship management. Access is limited to the service purpose and the applicable business relationship.

Icarus may disclose information when required by law or to protect legitimate rights and systems.

05

Retention and security

Inquiry records are retained for legitimate business, relationship, security, and legal purposes. Icarus applies reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

06

Your choices

You may request access, correction, or deletion of information you submitted, subject to applicable legal and business-record requirements. You may also ask Icarus to stop non-essential business communications.
